Ensnared

Hi! This is our first game ever and our submission for the 2025 GMTK Game Jam, Ensnared. 

The theme was "Loop", and we incorporated that by having the player capture creatures using a long rope-like object by creating a loop around them. 

Choose one of the three planets, and then click deploy! On each level, try to capture every creature by drawing a loop around them. Use your mouse to control the loop and wasd or the arrow keys to pan the camera. But be careful, if the creatures spot you it's game over. You can also get a game over by snagging an obstacle in your loop (rocks, trees, etc.)

Press "r" during a level to restart it (if the loop bugs out) or hit escape to bring up the pause menu.
